Alpaca wool

Sourced from alpacas in the Andean regions, Alpaca wool is an exemplary sustainable material due to its minimal environmental impact and superior qualities. Alpacas are gentle grazers, helping to prevent overgrazing and soil erosion, and their padded feet protect the terrain. Additionally, alpaca wool is naturally hypoallergenic, free from harsh chemicals, and incredibly durable, ensuring long-lasting products. By choosing alpaca wool, we support eco-friendly farming practices and contribute to the preservation of natural landscapes, all while providing you with high-quality, luxurious home decor items.

GOTS Bedding

We adhere to the highest standards in textile production, using Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) for our bedding, it is a cornerstone of sustainable living, embodying the highest principles of environmental responsibility and ethical production.

1. Strict Environmental Standards
GOTS certification ensures that every step of the textile production process, from harvesting raw materials to manufacturing and labeling, adheres to rigorous environmental criteria. This includes the use of organic fibers, prohibition of harmful chemicals, and sustainable water management practices.

2. Reduction of Harmful Chemicals
GOTS-certified bedding is free from toxic pesticides, insecticides, and synthetic fertilizers. This significantly reduces pollution and the risk of health problems for both the producers and the end users, promoting a healthier ecosystem and living environment.

3. Ethical and Fair Labor Practices
GOTS certification also mandates fair labor practices, ensuring safe working conditions, fair wages, and no child labor.

Pima cotton

Also referred to as the “silk of South America”, pima cotton is a plant native to Peru, often grown in the northern coastal valleys of Peru due to the region’s optimal temperatures and rich soil. Because it is a native plant, it’s well suited to the local climate, and thrive with minimal water requirements compared to other cotton varieties grown elsewhere.

Pima cotton is known for its long, silky fibers, which result in a softer, stronger, and more durable fabric less prone to piling. Its exceptional quality means products made from Pima cotton last longer, reducing the need for frequent replacements and minimizing textile waste.
